Second stop...Great Grandpa Bud and Great-Grandma Dixie.

Mason made a deal while we were there to have a sleep over and Grandpa Bud and Mason are going to sleep in the downstairs bedroom while grandma stays upstairs!

They really got a kick out of that arrangment, but I think first, Mason needs to get use to their dog Sadie first! She is a very playful dog and Mason wasn't sure what to thing about that. Lydia helped pass out candy to the Trick or Treaters and thought it was weird that they used pillow cases to collect their candy in. I guess that is old school now...I remember using a pillowcase for candy!

Trick or Treat!

This year we went Trick or Treating with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Dunford!

the kids loved trick or treating in their neighborhood a lot of the neighbors did really fun Halloween themes in their yards and some house were really scary to visit with their music and smokey fog. Just ask Mason! The weather was perfect!

Second Stop Cornbelly's! We love going to Cornbelly's, there is a ton of things for us to do. I would have to say that my favorite thing we did was go through the clown maze! Lydia did not like the clown maze and she will tell you that! The kids had a great time playing on the big trampoline pillows and the really cool wood toys. They love to shoot corn out of the guns and they hay rides. We spent the other half of our day here at Cornbelly's.

Gardner Village Witch Festival!

The weather was perfect for us to visit the Witch Festival! We had a fun time for Julie and Joy's Birthday! This was our first stop that was on the agenda for the big Birthday Party!

Masons first Field Trip! HEE HAW FARMS! It was really fun to be able to go with Mason and his class to Hee Haw Farms! We had a sack lunch and played at the farm and he even got to pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! Mason is in the same class as his cousin Lexi. They were so and full of excitment while we were driving there! It is neat that Mason and Lexi are in the same class and have each other to play with at school. They get to hang out a lot more together because of them being in the same class.

So here we are hanging out with Aunt Julie! I have to tell this story because it was so funny how she convinced Mason that they were going to eat eyeballs.

So every year we make peanutbutter balls dipped in chocolate for Christmas, yummy! A few years ago on Halloween a neighbor of Julie's brought over these chocolate peanutbutter balls with M&M's in the middle of them and they look like eyeballs. Well Julie made a batch of peanutbutter balls and she told Mason that they were going to make chocolate dipped eyeballs and asked if she could us his eyeballs. Mason was in deep though and told Aunt Julie that he could use his eyeballs because he needed them to see. Julie agreed and said that is okay and that she had a few neighbors give her theirs so they could dip them in chocolate. Mason was still skeptical about this chocolate eyeball until he got to dip them in chocolate and noticed that they were peanutbutter with M&M's. They are his favorite! The best Eyeballs ever!

We took a Sunday drive through Alpine Loop and stopped at Cascade Springs. It was so pretty as we walked the paths, fall was definatly in the air! This is my favorite time of the year! On our way back down the mountain we stopped at Sundance for a gourmet sandwichs (PB&J) and hot cider. It really was a fun little drive that I will remember forever! I love my kids and my husband and I love being with them so much. I have been blessed with a wonderful family!

Lydia started Dance this year! She thought it was the most awesome thing ever!

Every Monday Evening she gets to get her boogy on and she has quit the moves. She told me that sometimes when her teacher isn't looking she breaks out and does her own jive! She is working on her rockstar moves, they dance to Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus! I think that is how they spell their names...

Mason was so proud of his play dough person with red hair, that he wanted me to take a picture of his masterpeice! The thing that made me laugh was we had to make pants to cover up his boy parts! What was even funnier was it didn't even phase Mason that he put boy parts on his play dough person. I can't wait to see what he makes with his play dough at pre-school!

Mason had his cast on for about 5 weeks! He really healed very quickly. After his cast he got to wear this brace for 2 more weeks. He liked the brace because he had more freedom and couldn't take it off at night. Although at first it did make him nervous not having anything on to support his wrist. Now each of my kids have had a broken bone within a year of each other, we don't want anymore please! We will cross our fingers that we dont have to visit Doctor Richie anymore :-) (for broken bones that is)

The kids have found their new favorite Frozen Yogurt Shop... Menchies Frozen Yogurt! It doesn't get any better than your own cup of frozen yogurt with whatever toppings you would like. Lydia has the best recipie ever for this place and Mason well he loves it all and when I mean all, I mean he loves all the toppings mixed together! Yummy! You have to try it out, this Menchies is in Orem on State Street next to Cafe Rio.

One of the best inventions every made are Tinker Toys! My kids will play with these for a long time. At least long enough for me to get the dishes done anyways. The kids love to play with TinkerToys! They built a swingset and are putting on the finishing touches.

Mason asked the doctor if he could have a new cast on. He wanted to have a Batman Blue cast instead of a Wolverine Yellow. The doctor said that it would be okay to change his cast. Here is Mason waiting for his new cast! The nurse had just came in and cut off the old cast with the "Tickle Machine". Mason was very brave while the nurse cut off his cast. He was pretty careful with his wrist being exposed while waiting patiently to get a new one on.

Here is the kids most favorite doctor, Dr, Richie! He is great and is wonderful around kids. Last year, when Lydia broke her arm, she made Dr. Richie a card that had a horse in a bed of flowers. He still has that card and brought it in to show Lydia that he still has the card she made him. She was really excited to see he kept her card she made him.

THE GARDEN

So my neighbor, Mary Beach and I, planted a garden on Memorial Weekend and we are finally getting blossoms and vegetables. It has really been a different spring with lots of rain, and extreme changes in hot and cold weather. But as you can tell our garden has survived! Thanks to Mary for watering our garden faithfully, without her watering the garden there would have been no chance of it surviving. (I am not very good at staying home to water!)

So with as much fun as the kids and I had in Idaho, Mason had one incident. He fell off the tramp and broke his wrist. He has really been a trooper with his wrist being broken. Nothing will get into Masons way, just ask him. He still does tricks and runs fast and can pull the trigger on his nerf gun with his foot. He is finding creative ways to get around his broken wrist. He is a very smart little guy!

No they didn't eat the cookie dough! They wouldn't do such a thing, no way!

There was lots of playing at Keean and Heidi's house Lydia played dress up with Madisons clothes and boy did she have a lot of costumes!

We had a Baby Shower for my sister Katie this last weekend, but the crazy thing of it is, I was so busy helping with the shower I didn't get any pictures! Sad! However, we did have a lot of people come to the Baby Shower and we made Hairbows, which was really a big hit with Madison and Lydia. We also played a few nursery rhyme games. And of course, had nursery rhyme themed finger foods. It was really fun and Katie really got a lot of nice baby gifts.

The Fourth of July was really fun! We went to the Provo Parade and the Fair. We had a picnic at the park. Then to the Sierra Pool for swimming and later that night FIREWORKS! Lydia and Mason were so excited for Fireworks!

Later that evening, we had a barbeque and fireworks with our neighbors, Mary and Adam Beach! They are awesome neighbors and we have a lot of fun together. Especially when Lydia, Mason, Jack and Logan can play. They have a fun time together and the fireworks were a hit!

Sunday July 3rd was when Kingston was blessed!

Fourth of July weekend was packed with fun! On Saturday, July 2nd, we spent the day with Aunt Julie and went swimming and had dinner. Julie is awesome!

FEBRUARY 2011
This was the kids first time seeing the ocean. We went to Surf Side Beach and Laguna Beach. It was awesome to really play in the sand and have the waves hit our feet.

This was our first time flying together in an airplane! The kids were so excited to fly and they talked about it for days!

Disneyland was so fun! There was so much to see and do that we will be going back again and hopefully soon!

Seaworld was awesome! We enjoyed our day with shows and seeing the different sea animals!

The kids have so many memories of our trip to California this year that we really want to keep a tradition of going again soon. Thumbs up for the fun time at Disneyland, Seaworld and the Ocean!

So my last subject was Christmas and it is now July 12, 2011. It has been a really long time. I was talking with my sister Joy about our blogs and how it has been hard to post subjects because we have been so busy. This year we helped go shopping for the Sub-for-Santa that my work put together! We all had a good time chosing gifts for other kids. We bought for a 1 year old boy, 8 year old girl, and a 13 year old boy.

Our first visit to see Santa was at the Riverwoods. It was awesome! The Christmas Lights on the trees and building were beautiful. They also had lite firepits they were very artistic. The weather was perfect for being outside to, I think it was about 40 degrees, so we didn't freeze. It was so fun that we went back the next day for a carriage ride.

Okay, so this was awesome and made me laugh! While I was waiting for Julie to have her eye surgery I went to Fresh Market to pick up her perscriptions and as I waiting for them to fill her perscriptions I wondered over to the Halloween section. Well I came across this FrenchMaid Womens Costume and had to take a double look. Then I had to take a picture with my phone because no one would beleive me that this to me really looks like a man modeling a womens costume. Take a look and let me know what you think!

Aunt Julie had surgery on her eyes. This is her right after she had PRK. She really didn't want me to take her picture but everyone was asking about her andwanted to know how she was doing so I took the picture. She looks really great for just coming out of surgery. She could see instantly after they were done but the recovery has been pretty intense! She has been a good sport and hope that she gets feeling better soon. Love you Julie!

On September 22 is my Mom's Birthday. That morning Lydia and I woke upto get ready for work and school. I told her while I was getting breakfasts ready that it was Grammies Birthday. This was our conversation:

Me: Oh really (trying not to laugh) What kind of tablecloth would you like to get her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED!!! Another year older and wiser to!!!! Jared's Birthday was Sep. 21st. We had dinner with family at Tucanos and the kids couldn't wait for the Chicken Hearts! Sounds yucky but my kids love them. Silly! One of the highlights of the night was when they came to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jared. Jared even danced he was a good sport! Easter was really fun this year but we truly did freeze! You can really tell in the kids faces how cold they were. Lydia said that she wasn't sure she would do this again if it was going to be that cold! I am sure Mason thought that same thing.

We stayed long enough to have the Easter Egg Hunt and go on one ride after that we were ready to warm up. Crazy to think that later that afternoon it was really nice weather that we didn't even need our jackets on.

My niece Madison entered into her first beauty pageant . This was for the 2010 Miss American Starlet Triple Crown Pageant. She was so excited she had a couple of friends that were going as well and in the end they all had so much fun! Madison loved practicing her walk and deciding what dress to wear. Thank goodness she decided to go with Aunt Katie’s flower girl dress that saved a lot of money!

Our next stop was St. George! Man the weather was so nice compared to here! We finally got to met the new addition to our family, Jordan Chance White! He is so cute and has changed a ton compaired to the pictures I got to see when he was first born. Jordan was adopted by my sister and her husband in December of 2009, I beleive they signed papers on New Years Eve. It was exciting to finally met my new nephew Jordan he truely is a blessing!

We had a really nice Christmas in Idaho this year. We had a fun time at my brother’s new house on Christmas Eve. The kids were so excited about Santa coming and opening their gifts from the gift exchange. Heidi cooked all day long and the meal was wonderful! The best of all, my sister Joy and her husband Karson gave us a big announcement. They adopted a baby boy! His name is Jordan Chance White and was born on Dec. 15, 2009. For New Years, they signed the paperwork and became a mommy and daddy. We are so excited for them!
Christmas Morning was at my parent’s house. Lydia was so excited Christmas morning. Mason wasn't too sure what was going on but was excited that he could finally open presents without getting into trouble. It was really great to have the whole family together. Who knows this may be the last time we will all be able to get together. Every year we look forward to Christmas Brunch this is one of our Christmas tradition and we invite more friends and family come over. Our motto should be "The More the Merrier"!
The Day after Christmas we have a get together on my mom’s side with her brothers and sisters. When Joy and Karson made their announcement about adopting a baby my Aunt Paula suggested a baby shower. We were all together and Jordan surprised us all so quickly that Joy and Karson needed to be stocked up with baby supplies. She I consider Joy's baby shower theme to be, "A Baby Shower in an Hour"! We all had 1 hour to go to the store and come back to have a party for Joy and baby Jordan also daddy of course! It was really fun and they did get stocked up, well at least for the first few months anyway.

So I am a bit behind with postings it is so hard not have internet at home! But hey better late than never. For Lydia's 5th Birthday Jared and Mason started her day off with going to get the best Hot Cider ever at Sundance. She thought it was so cold there but she loved the Cider. Next, she went to Jump on it with her daddy and brother. They used up all that extra energy that 5 year olds build. They jumped for a half an hour and they were tired! Later that night we all went to Pirate Island Pizza. She loved it! We played games had pizza opened gifts and she even had the Happy Birthday song sang to her. She had a blast and is was great for me because it was easy entertainment and I didn't have to setup or take down the party. Later that night we had a work party at Costco. We love these parties, Lydia won $15.00 a cheesecake and she bought herself a pair of pajamas with a robe. Were we up really late but it was a day full of adventure. Happy 5th Birthday Lydia, we love you!

Here we are in Idahofalls. We had our picture taken, in what felt like 20 below weather! It was cold but we had fun feeding the ducks.
