To my mom on her Birthday!

I find myself wondering... Did I give you your due.. For all that you've done for me Did I ever thank you?
For all of my childhood memories For helping me deal with life's stresses For helping me accept my defeats And celebrate my successes?
Or for teaching me the value of hard work, Good judgement, courage, and being true The laughter, smiles, and quiet times we've shared Did I ever thank you?
If I have forgotten, I'm thanking you now You taught me right from wrong.... I hope you know how much you're loved and appreciated I hope you, instinctively, knew all along.
Happy Birthday Mom!

These pictures are from last year when you came down here for your Birthday! I wanted to say that we miss you and hope that your Birthday was wonderful! We have been thinking of you and wanted to say that we love you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday to Jared! Sunday, September 21, 2008 was Jared's 26th Birthday! We had a weekend of fun to celebrate his big day! Saturday Randy and Vicki joined us for an adventure at Hoogle Zoo! The weather was perfect and the animals were out and active. We saw every exhibit they had and took a ride on the train and Carousel. We spent most of the day there and we had a fun time with Jared’s parents at the zoo. Afterwards, Randy and Vicki took us out to KFC for lunch. The clouds had started to roll in thank goodness we had finished up at the zoo, it started to pour rain!
Later that night we met up with my sister Julie and she took Jared to his favorite place “Red Lobster”. Since I don’t eat fish, nor do I know how to cook it, going out to Red Lobster is the only way Jared gets to have any type of seafood. Thanks Julie for taking us out!
Sunday was the official day, Jared’s Birthday! We had a spaghetti dinner with family and opened gifts. Later, we had brownies and ice cream. That night after the party Mason, Lydia, Memphis, Jared and I all went for a walk and enjoyed the fall weather! It was a fun weekend and a Happy Birthday! Love you Jared!

Jeracho's Day!

We were so excited to be there for Jeracho's Baptism! He was so excited for this day to come and he was also excited that he was now a Cub Scout! Congrats to Jeracho and we are so happy for you! It was also neat to see my brother Keean baptize Jeracho. You did great! Afterwards we went to Keean and Heidi's and spent most of the day there and had a barbeque. We had a great time with you and need to do it again soon!

September 1, 2008

We had a really fun Labor Day Weekend! We decided the very last minute to take a trip to Idaho and visit my family! We had lots of fun seeing everyone. Lydia was so excited and couldn't wait to see her Grammies and Bumpa. It has been a long time since we have been to my parent’s house and this was Masons very first time! We got to do a lot of fun things.
Saturday, we went to the Blackfoot parade. It has always been a tradition to watch the parade at my Aunt Vonda’s house since she lives right on the parade route! After the parade, was Morgan’s football game in Pocatello. While we went to Morgan’s game, Lydia stayed with Uncle Keean and Aunt Heidi to play in the pool with all of the cousins! She didn't want to leave and had so much fun there! Next we had a barbeque that dad cooked up for us! Then we headed off to the Eastern Idaho State Fair! It was a busy and eventful day but really fun as well!
Sunday, was a day we all hung out at Grammies and Bumpa's house. We were so tired from the day before and we didn't want to do much. Although we did have our trip to Wal-Mart and later that evening we had another dinner with everyone.
Monday, was our last day together. We wanted to visit Richard, Katie and baby Ashden's new place. It will be a very cute townhome to start a new family! We also went to visit Mickey and Traci's new apartment. Traci always has everything put together cute! It was fun to see where everyone is living now, especially since Katie and Traci are the little sisters and it doesn't seem like they are old enough to have their own places. Man time flies! Our last stop was to see Carrie. We were going to visit her while she was working at the children’s clinic but we found out that she was off at noon. So we saw her at home! Lydia loves to go to Carries because she has cool toys that the boys have collected. Besides all the toys there it was fun to see Aunt Carrie to! I did find it funny when Carrie mentioned she made a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie! "Way to go Carrie I am impressed!"
All in all it was a good trip and we saw everyone even if it was only for a few seconds. Jason, Tracey and Lizzy (friends of the family) also joined us this weekend which was really fun to have them. Here are a few pictures of our Labor Day Weekend Trip!

First Day at PreSchool!

Noni's Summer Party!

This is a THROWDOWN, a SHOWDOWN, oh no we won’t SLOW DOWN…it’s gonna GO!
This year’s TNI Summer Party brings you three things that go great together: Tech Ops*, Water, and Plastic Chairs. Wait, I messed that up: TNI, Summer, and PARTY! There will be FURIOUS face painting, HEART-STOPPING food, SLURPADELIC soda, MONSTER trucks**, SKIN-MELTING vinyl rides, POWERFUL performances—a MAYHEM OF OLYMPIC PROPORTIONS!

Now we always say it’s going to be better than ever, but this time we are saying it AGAIN! We will kick things off with some delicious Gourmet Chinese*** at 4:30 p.m.

Then your incredibly talented co-workers in Tahitian Noni Idol will compete for the prestigious title of BEST PERFORMER EVER! Some of your co-workers are more talented than others and this time, with our state-of-the-art voting system, YOU will decide who gets the GOLD and who will likely not talk to their spouse (or guest) on the long ride of defeat back home. Our performers were hand-selected, wild-crafted, and micro-brewed from tree to bottle and will provide you with all the antioxidants**** and musical variety you need. Action starts fast and furiously at 5:30. Don’t be late!

Also, back by popular demand, the man with two first names, Scott Christopher will be our emcee for the evening. Scott has starred in many films and is know in certain circles as ‘the other funny red head.’ He will have you laughing until you fall to the ground with your mouth still open from all the gut-busting laughter until tiny ants crawl inside of your mouth and make an ant convention center of you*****.

And of course we don’t disappoint with Prizes – this year will be better than ever with giveaways ranging from the latest must-have electronics to cash prizes & travel packages! First prize of the night will be given away just before Noni Idol at 5:15! Stick around for the main giveaways at 7:15 (employees must be present to win) and finally our grand prize will be given away at our grand finale at the end of the night!

For the grand finale, you will LOVE the Golden Dragon Acrobats. Showing at 8 p.m., these fire-breathing****** daredevils will fight crime while taunting gravity and defying logic. Be prepared to explain to small children, “How they do that?” You’ll want to see them again. Here is a quick article from this morning’s Salt Lake Tribune as well as a link below to purchase tickets for their next mind-blowing show.

This weekend was really fun. We had Jared's work summer party and my work summer party. So we hung out with Julie, Joy and Karson and hit all the parties we could! Julie's camera took the pictures of their summer party since I forgot the camera so I will have to post those later but for my summer party I didn't forget.
Some of the highlights on Friday night at Jared's work party were:
Blow up toys to play on! Yes we all went down the slide a few times!
Didn't have to make dinner! They had Subway Sandwiches, chips, pop, cotton candy (Katie we took a picture for you!), snow cones, cookies ect. Lots of good food!
Raffle drawing! We won Nims Island! (cute show!) and a platter of Subway Sandwiches. Julie won a games set and a platter of Sandwiches. Yes they had lots of food they raffled it off.
Memphis came and hung out at the party to! Everyone loved him!
Joy, Karson and I had attempted to make cotton candy for the kids and it was nowing cotton candy everywhere! Next time we will stick to making the snow cones!
And to end the night and thank goodness it was at the end of the night. Lydia sat on a bee and it stung her leg. She has had two bee stings this summer. She is a little more cautious when she sees them now!

A Day at the Pool!

Today is Aunt Heidi's Birthday! Happy Birthday Heidi! We are going to celebrate and go to the pool. This was Masons first time at the pool so I am excited to share our pictures of his first time swimming. Lydia was so anxious to go, we had a lot of fun. Thanks Aunt Julie for letting us come to your pool!

New Addition!

On Friday August 8, 2008 Jared, Lydia and Mason drove to Kaysville to pick up our new Pug Memphis! He was born on January 16, 2008 and is very good with the kids. Lydia was saying all night that she was so happy to have her new dog Memphis. Today we gave him a bath, gone on a few walks and played with a few of his new toys. He is really a fun and entertaining puppy. He really loves his kennel and is getting use to his new bed. I think that today we had played with him so much that he has gone right to bed without a sound. Boy hope he can keep up with our crazy days!

Dunford Reunion Pictures

Dunford Reunion 2008

We had a great time in Bear Lake this summer. The Dunford Reunion was held in Bloomington, ID which is one of the small towns by Bear Lake.
We hiked up to Bloomington Lake which is a glacier lake, so it was really cold but the boys who got in the water had a blast. Lydia tells me that when she gets bigger she is going to jump in like Tyler, Ross and Cooper did off the side of the mountain, which I believe since she has absolutely no fear!
We had fun staying at the condo and Lydia got to play in the pool with her Papa Randy while the rest of us took a nap! The hike made us all tired. We also had a little party to celebrate Austin Birthday while we were there. It was late but there is always time for a party!
Our last day there we went to Bear Lake. Lydia collected seashells and Mason laughed every time a wave would hit his feet. We loved our visit to the lake and had lots of fun at the reunion.

You did it!

Mount Timpanogoes

On Saturday July 27, 2008 Jared and a few
Co-workers/Friends hiked to the top of Mount Timpanogos. They started up the trail at 4:30 a.m. and made it there about 9:30 a.m. This was the challange that Jared has wanted to achieve for a while now and had completed successfully in about 12 hours on a hot sunny day. The temperture on top of the mountain for that day was a steamy 55 degrees. They ran into two moose not to far off the trail just as the sun was rising. They also spotted mountain goats resting off the cliffs of the mountainside. It was an adventure that Jared will never forget and is proud to say, "I made it to the top of Timpanogos Mountain!" By the way Lydia said that she spotted daddy's white shirt on the mountain as we would show her which mountain he was climbing.

The Saddle

Here are a few pictures that Jared has taken while on his adventure to the top!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we headed up to Island Park! We were so excited to go on vacation for 5 days! We had a blast with the family and made good memories while we were there.
One that Lydia will remember is our stop at the gas station to get Jared a fishing license and getting attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes. Mason was content as could be as Lydia and I were swatting and waving blankets to make them go away.
This was the first time my Grandma and Grandpa Freeman had seen Mason. He greeted them with his warm smiles and had lots to tell them. Mason and Grammies had their fun together camping and going for walks and talking with the other families around. He was a good baby for it being his first camping trip! Aunt Carrie even came up and was giving him tips on things. Aunt Katie and Uncle Richard were practicing (help taking care of Mason) with Mason for when their baby arrives in January. I think the one who really was really a big helper with Mason was Morgan. He helped me give Mason a bath and get him dressed he even changed Masons diaper!
One thing we noticed was that everyone around us knew who Lydia was and they all got a kick out of her. Especially her Papa Paul, they got along really well. Papa Paul teased Lydia but she was too smart for he own good and would always come back with something to make him smile. Usually if Lydia was wandering she would be at Grandma Freeman’s trailer hanging out having breakfast or just talking with Grandma.
Bumpa went on the ride of his life with Lydia that he will never forget! She took over and drove the 4-wheeler and almost threw Bumpa off the back! She did the same thing with Jared and almost ran into a tree. Lydia has no fear.
Lydia was Patrics shadow most of the time while we were there to. Everywhere Patric went Lydia went to.
Jared was up early in the morning determined to catch his fish that broke his line last year. It is out there somewhere! He did catch 2 fish but they were too small to eat so he had to release them. Jared and I also went on 4wheeler rides and a lot of walks with Mason and Lydia. On the fourth we watched the fireworks at Jacobs Ranch and also the show they had on the lake. Mason and Lydia liked the bright lights.
Julie and Katie had a good game of no bears were out tonight and had the kids pretty entertained. While Traci and I enjoyed the campfire perfecting our smores.
The best part was one of the biggest Slumber parties ever. There was Mom, Dad, Carrie, Julie, Jared, Me, Richard, Katie, Traci, Mason, Lydia, Morgan and Patric all together in the trailer! Yes literally wall to wall people!
