Who is that sitting on Santa's lap? I don't know, I guess I need a redo of our picture with Santa but this will have to do for now. Lydia was very brave and introduced Santa Claus to Mason! Mason was very curious and just studied deeply into Santa’s beard!

This was too good not to post! Mason was being his silly little self when we were out last week! He was being really cute! He has this new smile that is guaranteed to make anyone smile! What do you think!

Okay, and now for the big finally! Lydia's Lua Birthday party! She has so excited to have a hula hula party; she practiced her hula dance moves and everything! Here she is showing off her moves, she made us smile for how cute she was! She greeted everyone with an "Aloha and made sure they had a lei. Madison and she wore grass skirts and Morgan joined in a bit later being the silly one he is! So get this not only did Traci work really hard on Katie’s cake for the baby shower but she also did one for Lydia's Birthday! Oh yes, a Lua Birthday Cake! Lydia loved it. Is it bad to say that I still have some rice crispies still today? I better throw them in the garbage! I do have to report that this cake was much easier than the baby shower cake. Traci did an excellent job and everyone loved it! Lydia's true birthday was December 4th and she had two more parties that day. One with her Friends and later that night with family! I think she really had a fun Birthday and she really can't believe that she is 4 years old now!

So we party like no tomorrow the Saturday after Thanksgiving! Our first party was my sister Katie's baby shower! She had a really good turn out and received a lot of things for Ashden. Richard and Katie are expecting their first baby in February! We can't wait for him to get here! Traci, Katie and I stayed up really late, like until 2:00 in the morning late, to make this cake. As Katie puts it, a cake that needs a band aid! And literally it had a band aid. Half of this cake was made of rice crispies and one of the batches of rice crispies started to fall apart, so Katie as brilliant as she is made a form to hold it together! It worked! By the time we were done with this cake we used 4 batches of rice crispies and 4 8x8 cake mixes, or something like that. Do you want to know how many bags of powdered sugar? Okay I will tell you 10 bags later we finally have our masterpiece that needs a band aid! Oh well, I made a note to myself, never stay up till 2:00 in the morning making cakes! (But yet I will stay up till 1:00 posting blogs! I am crazy!)

Party, Party, Party! The first Party for Saturday after Thanksgiving was Katie's baby shower! Yeah! It was really fun, she had a really good turnout and received a lot of things for baby Ashden! Richard and Katie are expecting a baby in February and poor Kaite has a bit longer to go and Ashden is a big baby! The night before Traci, Katie and I stayed up till 2:00 in the morning working on her baby cakes. Yes we were tired but with each others help we create a masterpiece that needed a few bandaids as Katie put it! "Note to self: Never stay up till 2:00 trying to make a cake!"

Okay I am finally working on my blog... So I guess I will start with Thanksgiving! We had lots of fun at Thanksgiving time; we went to Idaho to my parent’s house. Everyone was there which only happens once in a great moon! My parent’s house was full of people I think we had counted 25 of us. My mom and I were reminiscing about how long it takes to make Thanksgiving dinner and then it is finished in less than 10 minutes! Everything turned out excellent and it was fun having everyone at my parent’s house for Thanksgiving! This is Masons first Turkey bone! He is a true boy and loves his meat. "Forget the baby food give me the real stuff!"

Lydia is a silly girl! She was so excited to go to Grammies and Bumpa's house, that for a whole week all I heard was, "Is today Thanksgiving mom?" When I finally told her yes she screamed with total excitment. Then when she saw her bag packed and ready to go she told me that she was going to be gone for a lot of days since it was a big bag! Lydia had so much fun with her cousins, finally someone to play with besides mom and dad!
